    Rajiv Gandhi I.T.C.


An I.T.I., was established in 1990 at Nirmal to develop the technical skills of the backward district. The Institute changed its name in 1992 as Rajiv Gandhi I.T.I. after the demise of Late Sri Rajiv Gandhi, the former Prime Minister.

The trainees who passed out from the Institute had secured Jobs in Government, Public and Private sectors. Its own building was Inaugurated by Sri PV. Narsimha Rao, the then Prime Minister of India on 18-10-1994. The I.T.I., possesses 15 acres land handed over to it by Nirmal Vidya Samiti. The courses offered in Institute are Electrician, Fitter, Welder and Diesel Mechanic.
